Frequently asked questions

How does dunning and collections work?

If an invoice isn't paid by the due date, Two sends up to three dunning notices. Once an invoice moves to collections, that buyer is blocked from using Two again until it's settled - so you're covered even if we're the ones chasing, not you.

Will it affect my business if a buyer doesn't pay?

Generally, no. Two runs its own AML and KYC checks on every merchant to stay compliant. If a merchant is found knowingly working with buyers who repeatedly fail to pay, Two may request more information to assess the relationship.

Do you tell buyers before sending them to collections?

Yes. We send reminders before an invoice is due, then follow-up communications after the due date explaining any late fees and the collections process - so nothing comes as a surprise to your customer.

How and when do I get paid?

Add your bank details when you sign up. Payouts run weekly, every Monday, covering all invoices fulfilled by the previous Sunday. After fees, funds land directly in your account, and every transaction is tracked in the Settlements tab of the Merchant Portal.
